I’m not normally given to using words like awesome, but the service given by Travis of CPR was absolutely fantastic, at a very competitive fee.
Travis responded to my request for a property inspection promptly and arranged to do the inspection the very next day.
On the day of the inspection he made me most welcome to accompany him and answered all my questions readily and with user friendly explanations.
He was extremely thorough, accessing every nook and cranny. He and his assistant took numerous photographs in all parts of the building, both inside and outside. He also accessed the roof with a drone.
His report arrived within 36 hours and was very comprehensive and detailed, including photographs to illustrate problem areas. The report itself was multi-faceted, giving both in depth and quick review options.
Travis made himself available to answer questions and help with possible solutions to problems arising from the house inspection.

I recently read a ton of building reports and you can easily see which reports are fairly good and which ones are not so good. I was in a situation where the builder I wanted had already inspected the property, so I could either buy the report or actually do proper ‘Due Diligence’. I came across a bunch of recommended building inspectors online and called all of them. Travis initially hooked-me at price point and knowledge – and from the moment I met him in person at the property to the moment I received his comprehensive report + two weeks of additional questions.He has been all kinds of awesome, extremely helpful, professional, insightful and always available. The reports were truly comprehensive and we have never seen a report so detailed and precise at the same time.
CPRNZ truly saved us from buying a dangerous property as were so close to make our decisions. Travis also helped us in negotiating over a house that helped us to come to a reasonable agreement on price. The detailed Repair Request Report was stunning.
He even helped on a certain issue that’s at the property related to Porirua City Council, by talking to the council directly and confirming with them that they will fix it.

Unlike other renowned builders report I have seen widely used by many vendors , CPRNZ is by far at a different level. The way its seggregated in the builders report and the links used within are very handy and helps any lay person to understand the report.

Travis and his team are very professional they’re very experienced. The report is detailed and is easy to read and to follow. I particularly liked the sections, where he explained everything about the roofing, the wall, the foundations, and how does this relate to the observations he made . That made it helpful to understand the gravity of the situation, and understand the state of each of the different aspects of the report.
He was also willing to help with the understanding of how much does it cost to repair things and what can be done to be repaired and also insert them as suggestions in the report.
I highly recommend him and his team.
Travis and the team are very professional, responsive and live up to their ‘comprehensive’ name. We’ve used them twice during the process of purchasing a home and both times they provided detailed imagery and easy to understand observations and recommendations. I really like that wherever possible they will give you the DIY option first and even link you to specific products with price estimates.
My experience of comprehensive Property Reports Ltd was wonderful. Travis did an extremely thorough job in identifying problem areas and then advising on the remedy. He arrived at the time he said he would with a member of his team and both of them listened attentively to my issues and with empathy so really outstanding customer service as well. He arranged for a member of the team to visit me a few days later to fix the issues. Karl arrived as promised and was a perfectionist. He set up the work space and then proceeded to cover a huge area across the entire loft of the property very thoroughly and just not stopping till he completed the job! He worked continuously for nearly 5 hours fixing the issues. Travis also arrived during this time to check on how things were going. Using this company was an answer to prayer for me as Travis and the whole team are real craftspeople who know their trade. I found this company to be a responsive, professional team of dedicated people who are highly competent and know their trade.
Tássia was very prompt and professional with her communications and was able to work around our schedule and tight deadlines to get the inspection and report done on-time. The report and subsequent inspection findings delivered by her and Travis were the most thorough we’ve seen to date. It gave us the confidence knowing exactly what we were getting into with our first time purchase. The thermal and and in-wall imagery alleviated any concerns we’d been advised about with regards to mono-clad. We now have a clear understanding of the weather tightness, health and state of the property as well as where to focus our attention to make the biggest improvements and any areas that require special / immediate attention.
